ED's love poems really -- pumps -- my 'nads!
This section of this chapter, though, does revisit biography proper -- somewhat.

If i were ever to write a critique of Christianity's ideas, this book would be invaluable.

EVERY time Wolff mentions Native Americans it's about them raping or scalping the poor settlers. Quite vexing but luckily it's only about once every 100 pages.

The Voice. I'm not sure how Wolff really feels about Dickinson's The Child voice. I'm pretty sure she digs The Wife! voice, though i sense anxiety from Wolff about how contrary it is to standard Christianity.

Apparently i can only read ~15 pages per hour of this tome and i can barely dedicate an hour per day lately. I believe Wolff is going to delve into the poetry now as a way of talking about Dickinson's life.
