Cassia has just found out that the guy on the screen that she saw was Ky Markham. When Cassia tells her grandfather about this he is worried because Ky is an aberration. In the text it says, "Grandfather doesn't sit down," this shows how Cassia's grandfather is worried because he won't sot down after Cassia told him that Ky was an aberration.

I just started reading the book and so far it is very good. Cassia has turned 17 and she went to her matching banquet wich is when society chooses your "match". When Cassia figures out that her match is her best friend Xander, she is very happy. Everything goes fine until she looks at his microcard and sees another guys face flash on the screen. Now Cassia doesn't know who her match is.
