And surprise there is a short story at the end of this one. A previous adventure. Thought it might be how he met someone but just a short adventure. A good story though, worth reading.

So a bunch of things happening at once. Some I am not sure about. Knaak didn't do a good job of explaining the need for the ship. Or where the monster came from. A surprise was revealed. Still suspense, action, thrills. He mentions a president but I didn't recall him talking about him before. Could be I just zipped past that. Didn't want to stop reading until the end. A definite hint that he might write another one.

Going through this book fast. The three part man seems to be able to find him whenever they want and they are not the main bad guy. Seems that one event he stopped years before the first book had two or three different people who each wanted something else from it. He is just finding that out.

Starts with action and a mystery. Third one in a trilogy so we know the characters already
