I’m really starting to lose my patience with this book.

I’m this fucking close to just quitting & DNF’ing. I’m trying so hard to enjoy this story, but the epithets, poor punctuation, and other things are irritating the ever loving piss out of me.

poor Omar, being reduced to “the Indian man”. your characters have names—stop identifying them with epithets.

how many times can you use “the young man,” or some variation thereof in a single chapter? honestly, I don’t know. I lost count. but good fucking christ, lose the goddamn epithets.

my greatest frustrations so far are the unnecessary epithets that occasionally show up. “Omar” is a much better choice than “the Indian man,” trust me; the lack of commas where commas definitely should be; and the double spaces between sentences. the last is more annoying to read around than I’d have thought, but there you have it.
