So... We find out Basil was "sleeping with" a kelpie in Faela. My first reaction was "ewwww". I'm not sure if I'm being too critical but that just seems a little too bestial for me. Basil is one of my favorites, so I'm hoping his book doesn't go in that direction. A kelpie seems closer to a bonded familiar than a mate. :O
