I know this is ridiculous. I know! But does anyone else get salty and annoyed when reading a romance sex scene in a book and the heroine’s private’s is ALWAYS “pretty plush pink”! I mean where’s the LOVE for roast beef? Or purple? Or gradient coloured vags. Pisses me off bc “beauty standards”. 😒

I think nipples are described like that a close second, though there's more variation in colour with that.

You just may have ruined actual sex for me for a while! AND roast beef for that matter🤦🏾♀️LMAO! And you are right Disir, the variation with the nipple goes so far as “dusky”! So exciting!
The day I see the explicit term “brown nipples” in a book describing a female heroine. I’ll 5 star it just for the culture.
Oh, I've seen 'brown nipples' for female characters but they're few and far between, unless it's the hero, who typically has 'flat, brown nipples'.
