I've read all of Aycliffe's work; I'm re-reading at the moment with all the time on my hands. I had thought that it was "The Lost" which was his weakest, but I remembered it incorrectly. It's this one.

That being said, it only be because Aycliffe has otherwise set the benchmark so high. The writing here is as good as any. Poetic even.

I think it's me. This one is just a little slower. I'll see it through.
