In the kindle edition, chapter 26 repeats. It’s found in chapter 25 as well. I was wondering how this novel was still going. Like sheesh let’s wrap with the epilogue already

I did like that the engagement felt real, not romantic, “oh I just feel in love with you” fake. It covered issues and fears and worries.

I really liked the beginning of this novel. It was stronger than the first and held my interest longer. But now, halfway through, I’m bored. I’m waiting for that heart wrenching climax that leaves you breathless wondering how things will sort themselves out. It’s all been emotional and personal.

This one seems a bit better than the first. I like Mia’s feistiness and vulnerability with self-esteem issues. That sounds really negative but I like that she’s able to work through them
