I found myself hooked on this political thriller some fifty years after it was published. It is a novel involving politics, France, Algeria, Intelligence Agencies circa 1960, technology and the mindset of another era.
The good guys, at least some of them, are also admired - the ability to plough through thousands of forms for a nugget of intelligence for example.
