This is an entertaining piece, but I wouldn't have read it had I known that it was a book that just follows Herodotus path as he travels the East. I didn't pay attention to the title, obviously. The writer is obviously enamored of Herodtus (and I am going to read Histories based on this); however, it really isn't very informative or substantive; not really worth my time, but I intend to finish the book.
