“Passing Strange” by Ellen Klages- Holy bananas that was good. As it begins it’s not even clear whose story it is, but eventually it becomes clear that it’s a love letter to San Francisco in 1940 and a small circle of lesbian and bi women living in that time. Plus with magic! So relieved this one skirts tragedy. Beautiful.

Just finished “The Lamb Will Slaughter the Lion” and it was great! 4 stars. I love how it has taken fantasy and applied it to an anarchist setting. Great characters, with great symbolism about the nature of wielding power.
