I haven't picked up an Inspector Lynley mystery in a few years. I love Elizabeth George and the Lynley-Havers investigative team. Now I recall how slow-moving her plots can be and this book occasionally plods along in ways that make some parts a tad tedious. But it's great Lynley's back at work. As well, the threads of two different plot lines are sufficiently different that I wonder if they'll ever intersect.

Lots of different and seemingly unconnected plot threads difficult to keep sorted out. It's been so long since I've read an Elizabeth George that I've forgotten whether or not this is typical of her work.
