So Nara has been sent forward in time to the spell ship, and Aran is there as well. He can also turn himself into air. It doesn't feel like I have only 10% left to go.

So Aran gets sent back in time? I was really excited about this and we then spend the next however many chapters with Nara and shit Indiana Jones (who seems from a different universe) and Voria playing go. Very anticlimactic

Aran has completed his pyramid of death. To do so his armour gets battered and he ends up making a deal with his sword. This may backfire. The fight with the 2 Krox and the main Hatchling were pretty cool, but the rest seemed a bit lacklustre as he was too powerful. Just want to make a note here on word repetition. The bolt hit him in his right leg, above the right knee. You don't need the second right there

Aran is walking through the shadow of death, and it doesn't seem too difficult. Nara is reading books and Voria is at a party. Not the highest stakes...

Voria is negotiating, and kind of sucking at it. The Krox beat them to the punch, and have a better argument. Arans would be assassin is actually his sister, and Voria spoiled it. The dragons have agreed Aran needs to take the March of Honour. It will be some kind of trial by combat gauntlet of some kind.

Aran has got a new set of armour. Fritt has committed treason and they have landed on Virkon, and are surrounded by dragons. I like the sub plot of Nara turning bad if she gets her memories.

So they complete the attack. Frit is a spy of her own free will, ignoring all binding charms. Everyone is being sent to Virkon, and Aran had an assassination attempt as he is a dragon killer. There is also the missing first spellship, thought to be on Virkon

So Aran and the gang are hunting Binders on Shien. Why would they be able to infiltrate so easily. This is an action opening but I'm not finding it super interesting. I don't know why Aran can't wear his badass armour, and I don't know what happened to Cruise's missing leg
