Airman First Class Lawrence Warren revealed that during a debriefing following the incident, they were shown a 15min film of UFOs taken by U.S. Military personnel during WWII, the Korean War & Vietnam, & some taken by astronauts during the Apollo programme (including unknown objects on the moon). The purpose was to impress upon them the reason for maximum security concerning the UFO situation.

What am I to say? I know it wasn't a balloon. You know it wasn't a balloon. But until I've got a saucer on the ground in Hyde Park and can charge the public sixpence a go to enter, it must be balloons, otherwise the Government would fall and I'd lose my job.

What must now be common ground is that there have been thousands, probably tens of thousands of sightings & encounters, perhaps even recoveries of crashed craft, which have been reported in detail, sometimes recorded on cameras or w/ instruments, from all over the world, & which can no longer be sensibly denied.
