If it weren't for the techspeak between the two sleep scientists this would really fit better into the horror genre at this point. There's a slasher feel to the narrative jump-cuts and sexual references that is also reminiscent of Hammer Horror. Great stuff :)

Turning into a bit of a detective story now, a la Sapphire and Steel. "Oneiromancy" - great word: foretelling the future though dreams. No sign of the pesky entropy decreasing fiend as of yet but we've had some twists of Occam's Razor. A cut above so far.

Attractively slim volume. I like authors who don't faff. Tangible feeling of 70s UK. A character ate a meal of chips then plums and custard.
