In films, the character "Doc has an edge ... since in any situation he might as well play for keeps." This may help explain the real Doc's "admiration for Wyatt ... someone who had everything to lose and still played for keeps".

Wow, Barra is coming down solidly on the side of the Earps... I mean, my net result is to favour the Earps, too, but it was a complex situation and they were all complicit in how it developed. At this point, Barra's take is all White hats vs Black hats.
