Have you ever read the first paragraph of a book and known instantly that it was going to be fantastic. This is exactly how I felt starting The Bird in the Bamboo Cage. I read the first 2 chapters last night and would easily have kept going if my eyes hadn't closed and my kindle smacked me in the head. The writing is exquisite and I was pulled right into the story. This is going to be an amazing read, I just know it.
