Nice. I like how the MC did a self-analysis after being "dumped" n realized he tended to become emotionally dependent on others because he was empty inside, but that could not go on since it made him feel helpless n vulnerable all the time. He needed to fill himself up with knowledge etc. so that he could stand on his own feet. Yep, you're on the right track, do your best kid !
