*rolling eyes* I don't think this author has ever worked in a restaurant/bar, because idk where a server/waiter pulls up a chair, reverses, sits down, blatantly flirts with customers to get their order and up-sell.
Okay, going to suspend my belief & accept this weirdness. Maybe she has been to the one restaurant/bar where people do this *shrug*

Inheritance is one of those stories where the author just keeps pummeling the mc, over and over again with no light at the end of the tunnel. At least it feels that way, it's one bad thing after another and you're left wondering if the mc is going to survive any of it.

Eh, depends on how much time you have. I've seen it a lot. I worked in bars to put myself through college.

Seriously? I did it for years in New York and I swear people would have a melt down or call a manager if that happened. Just the thought of doing something like that makes me cringe >< lol which is not helping me read this haha
I guess it depends on how outrageous the flirting is. I live in the midwest, and i've been out of the bar scene for a bit. things could've changed, but when I was working in them it happened occasionally,.
Lol, oh he is outrageous. The MC calls himself "bar whore" during his inner monologues, sits on laps, touches inappropriately and makes lewd comments to guests*smh*. It's entertaining at least. ^_^
