Finally reading this. It's interesting to read Ruta Sepetys newest release after reading all of her backlog. While this novel continues the precedent that Salt to the Sea set of having four point of view characters alternating between relatively short chapters, this is her first book to be written in third person. Whether or not it's because of this change, her writing seems to have also matured in this novel.
