Not sure how I feel about this one yet...
It seems to be setting itself up for a major conflict between the two characters who are being developed: the victim of a terrorist attack and a would be recruit to a terrorist organization.

I'm of the mind that a story shouldn't be bogged down by too many branches off the main plot. This story reads more like a collection of loosely connected short stories sprinkled with unnecessary scenes. For example, I read a short chapter which depicted an autistic boy unbeknownst to to him, acting as carrier for a shady mail delivery service. Unless this boy shows up again, this deviation could've been cut out.

I wouldn't exactly call this a thriller. Not with all the scenes that seemingly add nothing to the story. I feel like the author has tried to do too much and now we are meandering with very little conflict driving the plot.
