Oh well, I wasn't expecting a literary masterpiece. Obviously. But this is really quite bad. And that's coming from someone who once read a book in which a somewhat desperate baker made a life-size gingerbread man for herself, and then the thing somehow came alive and they were having sex. While he was dirty-talking. In rhymes.

I‘ve only read 35 pages so far. The writing is better than that of Alten... I‘m guessing it‘ll go downhill from here? 😏

I'm not even sure I'd say it went downhill. I found it pretty bad all the way through. But there are one or two scenes that are especially terrible. So there might still be hope for you. Lol.
