I’m about to be at chapter 28 and I’m excited to see what made Murphy want to keep reading. I’m loving the combatant relationship between Adolin and Kaladin. It’s good character progression. I’m excited for what the rest of the book brings. The pacing seems weird to me though.

Really enjoying the pacing of this book compared to the first book. The beginning of the first book spent a lot of time world building which made it harder to get a grasp of what is going on in the world. Also, because promises are a lot more overt in the beginning of this book, it makes me chug the story more.
