The iconic handholding scene never fails to disappoint

I will never ever get over the (blushy, prolonged) handholding scene, omg.

List of things that surprise me about this manga: 1. It's so old!! It started in 2004!!! 2. the artwork and style are definitely slightly different from the anime and the little I've seen of the recent chapters so there's gonna be improvement!! and most importantly 3. it was written by a WOMAN!! I've been blessed.

Honestly, I don't really care for or understand baseball that much, but I watched the anime anyway because I just love the characters so much. Ren is just an adorable, anxious mess, and he and Abe should just be together already.
