It happened again! Another library loan that came through at a time that didn't really fit well with me. I had just read lots of heavier topic books and wasn't in the right mood. I delayed starting it, and then it expired before I finished. I'm putting myself back on the waiting list and hoping I'm more interested next time. I do think it's a valuable addition to the nearly non-existent canon of Black history.
