So far its ok, too original, but ok. But there's been at least two instances where I think the author or their editor made a comment that wasn't taken out/fixed. For instance "Ever since the day before, her muscles remained wound tighter than the rope (WHAT?)." <--fairly sure that was someone asking for the sentence to be ended since it makes no sense otherwise.

TWICE now Mulan has been threatened with rape. Ok folks look - why? Just why. "Dark and twisted" doesn't need to mean this. Ok you wanna make Luwei awful, being a bully doesn't need to mean rapist. Mulan gets ambushed by some drunken jerks? DOES NOT HAVE TO MEAN RAPE. Ffs much more of this and I'm DNF'ing with extreme prejudice.
