Too much heavy foreshadowing for Book 6 in this series which stars Janie and Stella, therapy clients of Emma.
Too much redundancy of the central romantic conflict of a therapist who's never gotten counseling herself as a PTSD, abused ex-wife.
I can't understand why Emma doesn't simply block her ex every time he gets her new number. Allowing him to keep calling her over and over makes absolutely no sense.
