Well, I’m only on Chapter 2 but the sentence about how you don’t choose your partner’s “spinster aunt” ... or “cousin with ... girlfriends that don’t speak English” hit me with the wrong tone. Maybe it’s just bc I’m a spinster aunt myself and have dated people who weren’t fluent in English. 🤷🏻♀️
