As I near the end of this book two things came to mind...

1. Jesus where has the pacing been. The 2nd half of this book was just wow. Like I had to go back briefly to get an idea of where and when did Vincent and Harry meet.

2. If V.E. Schwab took this concept and ran with it....it could have been another "Vicious" but absolutely amazing. Seriously. I honestly kept imagining Harry and Vincent as Victor and Eli.

JESUS CHRIST Claire North who was responsible for editing this book. This is beyond horrible and one of the main reasons why this is taking me so long to read. There are so many grammatical errors it's ridiculous. This may be my last book by this author. I'm so over this but as I stated before I need to know how this ends....it's like a jedi mind trick or something.

Gonna try to finish this tonight. Out of nowhere it picked up speed....like jesus where have you been all my life with the pacing????

I am at a lost. I feel like the author had a lot of amazing ideas but they are place randomly through out the chapters. I often lose track of what I'm reading because of the multiple lives that Harry has lived. I wish the author would have thought of a way to label each chapter to make you aware of the timeline. I am super forgiving of the huge info dumps because it written well. But it's a mishmash of information.

I really love the fact the chapters are short! Makes the pacing great because there is alot of boring yet interesting information you have digest. The author does a great job of making the info dumps (which are needed) very fascinating. It kinda keeps you wondering if you could die and be reincarnated and given the same life...what would you do differently if you could?
