I’ve written haiku on and off for years, but I’m enjoying learning about the haiku style of Issa from this book. In particular, the lessons focus around a theme with lots (often humorous and thoughtful) examples and guidance for creating your own. I’ve already written a dozen haiku inspired by this book and looking forward to writing many more with new purpose and focus.
