Looking for recommendations of fantasy books/series that don't involve a ton of violence...I want to nurture creativity and joy.

Have you read The Wizard of Earthsea books?
I really like The Name of the Wind. Give it a shot. It's on a lot of top 10 lists.
Thank you for these suggestions, Andrew, Alexandra and Devin!I have read the Earthsea trilogy, but maybe I will reread them??? Maybe I read them in a time where I wasn't ready to really "go there"?
