Very good but could use a better edit. As with the earlier books in this series, Mantel sucks you in. But just got through a gruesome description of someone being burned at the stake that gave me nightmares so need a bit of a break.

Have been both looking forward to this book for years and dreading it as I know how it ends. I don't know if this is the best book to listen to while stuck in bed. On the one hand, Mantel sucks you into the intrigue quickly and lets you luxuriate in the detailed world of 16th-century. Yet, it's not exactly comfort reading.
