"He looked as though he wanted to argue the toss a little more." Huh? Once again, Americans don't say things like that. "It was a one-off." ?? You mean, "a one time thing?"

another thing...Americans don't end sentences with "yeah?" As in: "We should eat first, yeah?" Americans don't say "bits." As in: "all he could think about was rubbing their naughty bits together" or " 'But you left out the good bit of the story!' " No. We say "parts." Also, we would never FLOG anything on ebay, we sell stuff. Whew. Okay, rant complete.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa......this author is Australian, writing about Americans. But every other line they say something distinctly Aussie, like: "Norsca-fresh!" What the hell is that? I had to look it up, it's apparently an Aussie deodarant product. "Were you a girl guide?" OF COURSE NOT! Because Americans are Girl SCOUTS! Get it straight.

They're all American, it takes place in LA. I can understand why she needed this story to take place in LA, the h/h write for a soap opera, but really, just ask an American to read it through. They're small errors, but completely annoying!
