Not as exciting as some of the earlier books yet. Maybe I'm too used to the characters and plot scheme that the book has lost its coolness? Something that is unnecessary is all the descriptive detail about the rangers and what they're capable of doing. I've read the previous books, I know all this stuff. Makes the book boring. But it's still a good read and a nice story.

Still dragging. Might have to give this series a break after this book. Unless something happens to keep my interest right away for the next one. We'll see.
