This has to be one of the dullest books I have ever read. For a Super Event, there's no tension or anxiety that I feel for the people. Kelly the geologist leaves her friends behind!! Come on that would never happen. I can't believe any editor would let this story pass. It is so full of clichés that I want to gag. I will finish it but only to say, yes, it was ALL as bad as the beginning.
