I hate when virgin heroines have to explain why they are still Virgins. It virgin shaming. I don't see non-virgins explaining why they have been promiscuous. The author even has the heroine saying she's not looking for marriage just a boyfriend to sleep with when the time is right. That is demeaning. Why not wait for marriage? Her mother didn't and got tossed aside by her sperm donor dad.

Is it trending for HP heroines to make assumptions based on ignorance about the heroes? I find it very annoying.
