Not loving Jane and her development. If her experiences in Scotland altered her so much, I feel we should at least be made aware of what they were. Her life choices were made based on her situation. She got bitter and jealous.
Still find Col Fitz to be ick, specially toward women. I would LOVE to see him eat humble pie, but I guess he doesn't...?

Halfway through and while enjoying the writing (Dixon generally writes well) this version is disconcerting. Everything that D stands for is propriety and honor. no way would he be so base as keep his own human sex toy. I also miss hearing more about the remainder of the Bennet's. Bingleys choice of wife has clearly kept him from reaching his true potential. D tires of him, which is ironic considering D is the cause.
