Colleen Coble is a very hit or miss author with me. I have read books of hers that I couldn't put down and books that it took everything for me to get through it. This book was part of the latter group. For the life of me, I couldn't get into the characters of this book. I found myself having to read and reread sections because I had either skimmed over or forgotten what I had read due to a lack of interest.
