Honestly these are just getting worse and worse in terms of the writing. I’m really disappointed as I loved the YA Crave series (same author, different pen name). I think it comes down to poor/lazy editing tbh. If readers are noticing inconsistencies that don’t make sense, they should have been caught by the editor. Stg I just read the line “hurt or injured” ... that’s .... the same thing?
