I really liked Angels & Demons and the DaVinci Code, too, but less so. After the movies came out, I was sick of the subject matter and didn't read Lost Symbol. Anyway, this is still Langdon, and it's in Italy again, but so far it's more creative and differentiated from the other books. We'll see how it holds up. As the title suggests, it so far has centered around Dante's Inferno.
