When I saw that this book is 700 pages, I thought my Kindle display was messed up at first, but nope--ACOWAR must pack a punch.
(One of my most common complaints, even about authors I know and whose writing I like, is when ONE story arc is torn apart to become a trilogy, with cliffhangers in between. Maas does not disappoint when it comes to separate story arcs!)
