The illustrations are adorable, but there’s other much of a story. It’s pretty boring.
The “Fancy Nancy” books handle the whole fancy ‘theme’, and introducing higher vocabulary words a lot better. Like actually giving a simplified definition, for one. Are they expecting kids to look them up or something?

Mr. Snake had some serious mascara game, going on. Usually you only see eyelashes like that drawn on when they want a character to be female - were we supposed to think mr. Because it was a blue snake?
