I was hoping for more personal stories and more of a memoir. I appreciate the lyrics to songs throughout & the explanations of the origins/meaning of those songs. I didn’t appreciate the commentary in politics or the role of artists today, not because it wasn’t good. I just wanted more of a traditional memoir from her.
