At Loc 1096: Just another of many, many, many missing commas before a name: "It is Mae's oldest enemy Isolde - and ours."
I was starting to think Wilson has an allergy to commas, but suddenly on Loc 1105, the next page: "I'm frightened, Isolde." She got one!! SHE GOT ONE! SHE GOT THE COMMA! Was it an accident?

Loc 4404: “As soon as Isolde gainsayed the thought...”
gainsaid is a word, gainsayed is not. In fact, even my phone is putting a red dotted line under it.

Loc 1132: "...there were only three small volumes inside, all bound in red vellum..." Vellum is a translucent, thin, flexible tracing paper made from calf skin. It's not often used for book covers, but when it is, it's creamy white and not super durable. I'm willing to overlook this if they are magic books. But I wonder if Wilson meant something else and could only remember the word vellum.

Loc 738: “He was about to ask a few pertinent questions (like, what had happened at the hovel come fairy bower)...”
Maybe you’ve never seen this written out, but it’s hyphenated and it’s cum. Hovel-cum-fairy-bower, Latin.

Loc 738: “Josh didn’t need reminding. Six burnings and two grizzly deaths, all in one morning.”
If you don’t mean they were killed by bears, it’s “grisly”.

A fair few typographical and editing errors are marring this book. Several instances of missing commas, for example “What are you doing Isolde”.
At Loc 581: “T’is the Pope that should burn in Hell, for claiming her a bastard”. Even a normal spell check in Word should have caught “t’is”.
