Lili always wanted to be that girl that everyone liked, she wanted to be more social like her best friend who glowed in a crowd. She wanted to be in control of her life and not let her anxiety push her into whatever direction it wanted. At the end of the poem, she says that everything got better after she decided to take control of her life and steer it into a better future and that inspired me a lot.

On page 211, Lili talks about feeling like a rock in a stream when she's surrounded by people and I felt connected to that because she was able to describe this feeling in a way that I never could and it helped me feel relieved in some way.

"You were a rose without thorns... poisoned petals are what you kept from me" I really liked this poem because appearances could be deceiving sometimes in a good way or most times, in a bad way.

On page 159, Lili says she's always scared of the different "realities" she creates in her mind. Her mind is never quiet and she's always searching for something or someone that will silence those thoughts. I felt really connected to this poem because my mind is the same as hers.

In this certain poem, Lili Reinhart says that saying "I love you forever" is a way of manipulating people, so it's better to say "for now" because even forever has an expiration date and that poem really stood out to me.

"A single flame can light up a room... but it can also burn..." Lili wrote. She was talking about her love. She was hurt by this person and she expressed her thoughts through this poem.
