I just finished reading an ARC, but it was no good for me. There are no other reviews yet, how do you feel about posting the first review and it being negative?

I wrote a negative review that was the second review for the book. It sucks but I couldn’t lie about it either. Chances are it’s not just you.

Thanks Leah. I just posted the review. I feel bad, but really nothing I can do about it...
Sorry that happened Sam. I wish I could say that it gets less sucky but I'm at the end of my 5th year reviewing and being the first negative still doesn't feel good. But honesty is what really matters and you did the right thing. I had issues with this author's first book so I think they might be a required taste.
