Ethan Wate has been having these strange dreams about this girl with glowing green eyes and everything he experience in the dream appears when he wakes up. When he fell off a boat in one of his dreams and woked up he was soaked and wet and smelled like sea water. Going to school Ethan finds out that there is a new student and it turns out to be the girl from his dreams. He remembers her, but she doesn't remember him.
