Secondary education must change to more meaningful lessons- teaching those with autism how to dress themselves/basic hygiene. Programs like TEACCH should be brought more to the forefront- it being community based which can be backed up by Andrew Solomon’s work in his book ‘Far From The Tree’ which details the different cultures & the impacts of them on the people in them.
