I am seriously getting whiplash from this Mr. Wolfe!
And Ellie - what is wrong with her? At the start, she was untouchable and a strong woman, and now she is pathetic woman yearning for his affection and attention??

There is a slight disconnect with the hero's character. I know he's guarding his heart, but some of his odd thoughts and hot and cold attitude doesn't sit well with me. He better shape up because he's not the most likeable hero in my opinion.

This started off really slow and admittedly, I skimmed a bit, but once the hero showed up with his brooding character - everything got really juicy and exciting.....
