Incredibly well written, totally engaging, I'm 100% hooked. At the same time the main character, certainly not a hero to this point, is so very harsh. I'm hoping and praying he does something to redeem himself!

It didn't take long for me to get sincerely engaged and interested. Then, early on, I hit a bit of a "thing" where the author used language I found off-putting. Fortunately rather than just putting to book down I contacted the author and asked him about it. I'm so happy to say I got an immediate response and assurance my offense what not substantiated. I'm really enjoying this read so far!
